going to church every Sunday for years gives you a perspective of God and the Bible. reading the Bible intentionally gives you a much different perspective. this has been my experience anyhow.

be an outlier.
all good things are done by outliers.
some outliers do bad things.
but all good things are done by outliers.

lost generation.
another blog post prompted by a Joe Rogan podcast. he recently had a guest that wrote a book about kids that go to therapy. her stance was strong. very much against the idea of children going to therapy in most situations.

it might not come naturally.
what qualities do you imagine come to mind when those closest to you think of your name. are they any of those 4 qualities i listed? are they all positive? are they detrimental?

humbled.
pride is a hard topic to tackle. but a necessary one to talk about none the less. i think it is accurate to say that it is so easy to be prideful - thinking that we are better than someone else or that we deserve something because of who we are or what we did. these feelings can corrupt our hearts so easily.

sick days.
this may sound extremely dramatic and well to be frank, it is. but my intention behind writing about my sick day with zero exercise is that it has made me realize just how much exercise and fitness defines who i am.


The messy middle.
what if there was a middle? a place where you don’t have to decide, stand up or sit down, defend or attack. a place where you could just be.

okay now it’s time for me to defend the statement that “destined for greatness” is a lie that comes from hell.
